Hello! We’re the Pickett family! There are five of us – Dan, Erica, our son, Levi, and our twin daughters, Kinsley and Adelyn. We also have a wonderful chocolate lab who goes everywhere with us, Nita!

We’ve always been lovers of the great outdoors, national parks, and camping. We are originally from the East Coast, having lived just north of the Mason-Dixon line for most of our lives. Dan grew up in southern Pennsylvania, while Erica grew up in northern Maryland. Since meeting, we have made our home in southern York County, Pennsylvania, and it is there that we brought home our three babies.

We’ve been lovers of camping since we met. We started out tent camping, before buying our first pop-up, and then our ultralight travel trailer, and most recently – our upgrade to a fifth wheel toy hauler. We’ve done several cross country road trips together, and have already visited 29 national parks in the past twelve years!

In 2021, we opted for a change and when the opportunity arose, we moved out to Idaho. We love the mountains and the recreation and it was a lovely fit for the past year. But, the sense of wanderlust still didn’t seem fulfilled, so in early 2022 we put wheels in motion to be able to go on the road full time. Dan works remotely and Erica is a stay-at-home mom.

Levi is our eldest at eight years old. He is naturally inquisitive, incredibly knowledgeable about animals, and loves puzzles and challenges. Our twins are five years old and growing like weeds! They are fraternal, and it soon becomes easy to tell the differences between them. Kinsley is taller, with dark brown eyes, and loves to ride bikes and swim. Adelyn is shorter with green eyes and has a deep love for rock climbing and adventure!
